About Buddy Hitchcock, SAMS® AMS®

Buddy has been involved in the marine industry for over 34 years in many capacities. He spent a number of years as a professional captain holding a U.S. Coast Guard 100 Ton Captains License, skippering both power and sail. His primary cruising grounds ranged from Nova Scotia to Venezuela, the Bahamas and the Eastern and Western Caribbean. In his capacity as a captain he was responsible for the daily maintenance and operation of those vessels as well as organizing and overseeing major refits. Thus gaining a good education in the construction of, and the systems of those vessels.

Hitchcock Marine Services has been in business for over 24 years. Buddy has surveyed Small Crafts and Yachts from 20 feet to 115 feet. As an AMS® he continually upgrades his education through regional and national SAMS® seminars to stay current with new trends and equipment. His reputation has spread primarily by word of mouth from satisfied clients, insurance companies, finance companies and brokers. You can't beat that.
